YAMIT E.L.I.'s Sand Separators are hydrocyclone filters designed for use as head filters in agricultural and industrial settings.
The sand separators hydrocyclone filter has been designed and built on the principle of free flow where water flows freely on a spiral path along the length of the filter's cylinder. As a result of the centrifugal force, waste becomes separated form the water and adheres to the filter's walls. Waste then gravitates downwards to be collected in an underflow chamber, while the purified water rises to emerge from the top end of the filter.
YAMIT E.L.I. Sand Separators feature:
Inlet/outlet on an axis of 90 degrees
Quick coupling connectors enabling flexibility and easy assembly
[threaded and flange connections also available]
Electrostatic oven curing with an epoxy-polyester combination at
150 micron thickness or heat galvanization at 100 micron thickness
Maximum working pressure up to 8 bar (116 psi)
