Process water for paper mill (Iron and Manganese removal)
Solution
Treating the process water [wastewater] in eighteen 48” filtration vessels with high media filtration using “YAM-LOX” a special catalytic media. Additional treatment includes injection of 0.5ppm hypochlorite and a special aeration system. System flow rate is 600m3/hr.
Treatment Process
Chemical treatment, Multi media filtration with Catalytic media (YAMLOX)
Results
Iron level is reduced to 0.1ppm and manganese level is reduced to 0.03ppm allowing the water to be used as process water.
